FMP NEWS DESK: Rick Ross Coming To Lagos

Come Friday, 17 th of August, 2012, American born international rapper, William Leonard Roberts II popularly known as Rick Ross, will storm the commercial nerve centre of Nigeria, Lagos for the upcoming Summer Jam Fest 2012 concert at the exquisite Eko Hotel and Suites.
The Florida native who made headlines with his debut album in 2006 titled ‘’Port of Miami’’ will headline the music concert alongside one of the biggest groups in Nigeria, P Square and others. The music concert is powered by St. Eve Concepts Limited, the owner of popular magazine, St. Eve.
Summer Jam Fest 2012 is geared to set the tone for an annual concert to promote health and proper lifestyle, and this year, some of the hottest Nigerian artists of the year will be performing alongside the aforementioned big acts. St Eve Concepts aims to promote healthy living through music and entertainment.
St. Eve Concepts is an internal Wellness and Enzymatic Weight Management Company which was founded in 2006 and remains the first and only Enzymatic Health care service provider in West Africa. In 2010, St. Eve Concepts launched a quarterly magazine about health, beauty, fashion and lifestyle called St. Eve Magazine.

Lagos stood still yesterday July 4, 2012 as MAVIN Records paraded their acts – Tiwa Savage, D’Prince, Dr SID and Wande Coal at the weekly Industry Nite celebrity hangout .
The Ball Room of the Oriental Hotel in Lekki, Lagos, was specially opened for Don Jazzy and his crew who treated a mammoth crowd to a series 0f performances. From the reactions, fans were obviously thrilled, roaring louder anytime Don Jazzy got on stage.
Wande Coal got everyone on their feet, with back to back hits from his repertoire, same for Dr SID and D’Prince; but it was Tiwa Savage who stole the show, with an electrifying live performance delivered like a maestro.
The gig which was hosted by BEAT FM Sports newscaster Jimmie was attended by a massive number of Nigerian celebrities including 9ice, Modenine, Weird MC, Tee-A, 2shotz, Praiz, SexySteel , Storm Records ‘ Naeto C, Tola Odunsi and Ms Jaie, Durella, Pastor Goody Goody, Samklef, KCEE, DJ Caise, Harrysong, DJ Sose, DJ Xclusive , and many more.
Indsutry players like BEAT FM’s Deji Awokoya, Olisa Adibua and Toolz, Toke Makinwa, COOL FM’s N6, Dotun and Kaylah, Yvonne ‘Vixen’ Ekwere, Kemistry, X3M Music boss Steve Babaeko and others were also present.
Other performers who rocked the stage include Tunde Ednut, BiggSplash, Oluwasegun and Benny P .
